Classic Cherry Pie
Ingredients:
2 pre-made pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
2 (21 oz) cans of cherry pie filling
1 tsp almond extract (optional, for added flavor)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional, for sprinkling on crust)
Directions:
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Pie Filling
Pour the cherry pie filling into a large bowl.
Stir in the almond extract if desired for a hint of flavor.
Assemble the Pie
Place one pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan, pressing it gently into the sides and bottom.
Pour the cherry pie filling evenly into the crust.
