Easy Pecan Pie
Ingredients:
1 pre-made pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup light corn syrup
¾ cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 ½ cups pecan halves or pieces
Directions:
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Pie Filling
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
Stir in the pecan halves or pieces until evenly coated.
Assemble the Pie
Place the pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan, pressing it gently into the sides and bottom.
Pour the pecan mixture into the crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake the Pie
Place the pie on a baking sheet to catch any drips.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
To prevent over-browning, you can cover the edges of the crust with aluminum foil halfway through baking.
Cool and Serve
Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack to allow the filling to set.
