Green Bean Casserole
Green Bean Casserole

Green bean casserole is a timeless holiday favorite made with tender green beans, creamy mushroom soup, and crispy fried onions for a delightful crunch. This comforting dish is perfect for gatherings and pairs wonderfully with roasted meats and other festive sides.

Ingredients:

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained

  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • ¾ cup french onion dip

  • 1 (2.8 ounce) can French fried onions

  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Mix green beans, condensed cream of mushroom soup, french onion dip, and 1/2 of the fried onions in a medium casserole dish.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until heated through and bubbly, about 25 minutes.

  4. Sprinkle remaining onions on top, and return to the oven for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Pro Tip:

For extra flavor, sauté fresh mushrooms and garlic in butter to mix with the soup base, and use fresh green beans instead of canned for a brighter, crisper texture!
